(1) Quote the date each figure refers to, alongside each of them? Or do you think that is "unrelaistic"??
(2) Use a different measure of "size", which *is* quoted at the same time for each bank - eg market cap? Is that "unrealistic"??

That sounds more like instructions than suggestions.
A poster asked a question, no one answered it, so I spent a few hours producing an answer. If you are not happy with my answer you should produce an answer yourself. As I stated when I first produced my list of the top banks, opinions are bound to differ. If you are willing to spend the time producing a list according to your criteria I might have a little respect for your opinions, otherwise I have none.
