I thought you revel in accounting work. It is your life and you live for it.
Work is not for reveling. And I have never lived for work, of any kind.
So you spend 40 hours a week -- half your WAKING LIFE -- doing something you'd prefer to not be doing?! (And this does not even count driving to work or worrying about work at night!) Are you miserable?
LOL! Some of us operate with more than just on/off switches. Just because I don't revel in it or live for it does not mean I would prefer NOT do it. Sheesh :) You're like a tick sometimes... pinch the body off, but the head keeps burying itself in deeper.
