CPA Review Material

I have been researching CPA review material and I am overwhelmed at what is out there and wanted in site on what you thought was the best review material (books, software, audio, etc.) for the money and the results. I have researched Wiley CPA Exam Review and Bisk which ranges in price considerably. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I happen to have used both Bisk and Wiley. I purchased a Bisk package near the end of the year. I think it was all four books for less then $100. I'm not sure if they still have that type of sale. I used two of the books for REG and BEC. Then for the more time sensitive material I used new Wiley material (books, CD, and Summary) for FAR and AUD.

I think both offer a multimedia type of interface, but that's not how I study or retain information so I didn't bother with that. The only advise I would give is that study habits vary considerably and so do study materials. I can sit down with a book and feel like I'm getting the most of my time, other people might need multimedia, person to person, or something in between. Even Bisk and Wiley books vary considerably in their presentation. You need to do what is comfortable for you.

Good Luck, Rick
