I am a consultant for a Federal contractor and all the funds are Federal. We have a huge outstanding check list going back over 10 years.
Can we escheat Federally funded uncashed checks? I found nothing about
this in the FAR nor in the State site. If anybody has any ideas where I can find this info., please let me know.

Yes. We have some payroll checks, but mostly are vendors' checks. Thanks
I don't think it matters that the contract was from the federal gov't, in my state the only obligation is to have written proof of contacting the payee's last known address. You can always call the state treasurer, they may have knowledge on "federally funded" unclaimed checks.
