Transit Items + HQ

Hi all!

We are using rms 1.3.10.10 I'm trying to make a Report for the Items in Transit.

The Items in transit are the items that we sent to a store wich they did not received yet.

I don't know where to get this information I tought it was the committed items but I made a PO with only one item and it doesn't appear to be committed.

So anybody who knows where to find this info in the SQL DB (table/field), please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

J.B.

Look at the interstore transfer report in HQ. If this won't get you exactly what you need, it should get you close.

Let me try if I get it right--> transit items are ON ORDER items ??? or if not--> how you make it, in a way you know it is a transit item? what menu ?

you'll get information ON ORDER qty when the purchase order is not yet receive and commited..basically...it was save only...

then when you check in your item..in inventory tab..you'll get the no. of pcs ON ORDER ... i hope this is right :)

if yes...you'' get this information in PO/POentry table with status open....

let me know if it is wrong :)

Anybody knows what the placement status means?

Placement status: Whether the purchase order has been issued or not.

try press> Anybody knows what the placement status means?

Haha. The RMS documentation blows. That's why prople come here first. F1 us useless.

Yeah your right... customer source is way much better than the RMS help file, but sometimes it's still hard to find the answer quickly.

thanks anyway.

I figured out how to get the transit items from POs.

But now I need the transit for interstores transfers.

Should I look in the tables PurchaseOrder/PurchaseOrderEntry or in the table InventoryTransferLog

Thanks for your help
