Why, does this system not combine the TOTAL for all items on order (in transist) and in inventory, and use this TOTAL AS NOT TO BE included when I want to create another PO from the same vendor? I am having to auto generate and go back to see what I need to delete that is already in transit on previuos PO.

Seems to work on this end. Maybe you don't have enough on-order + ((on-hand - committed) - transfers)) < re-order point to satisfy the re-order level.
Thanks Jeff, but this is not the issue in most cases I have lets say a total of 57 in stock and on order on an Item that has a 60 Max order, but as always when I generate another PO it will try to order 3 to get to the Max level, and my Vendors do not take such small quanity orders so i have to manually find and delete all these items. any ideals?

Let's assume your suppliers minimum order on this item is 24 and you want a maximum on hand of 60. Set the MPQ at 24, your max on hand at 60 and your reorder point at 36. This way when the items on hand quantity reaches 36 the system would automatically order the MPQ quantity of 24. So you would have
36 on hand and 24 on order = 60. You would now have to sell 24 more before you would reach your reorder point of 36. At that point the system would reorder 24 more.Craig, I have attempted this but when I order from this same vendor It will order the MPQ of 24 even though I already have them on stock and on a order that is in route, I can look at the Item info and it will list 34 in stock,
24 on order but if I have sold 1 or 2 it will reorder MPQ of 24 again?
