HQ: Table store tax

Hello,

I'm setting up an HQ with three stores SO.

Now I wan't to set the item tax in HQ for the stores. All stores must have the same tax for the items, so I want to do this through an SQL statement. Only I don't know which SQL table is used for this information.

Does anyone know, wich table this is in HQ?

Hope you can help me.

Greetings

To assign the item sales tax from HQ, you would not run a SQL statement, but instead create the tax structure and issue to the stores.

Step 1 - Create Sales Tax Structure: HQ Mgr>

Database>

Sales Tax>

New>

Assign Name (i.e. xx State) Assign Code (I use a 3 digit, like 001) Input Sales Tax Rate>

OK to save changes>

If needed, create new tax for County, City or District by clicking New again>

Assign Name (ex. xxxx County) Assign Code (Again, I use 3 digit, so 002) Input Sales Tax Rate>

OK to save changes>

Repeat again if needed for City or District

Step 2 - Create Item Tax (bundle of Sales Tax Structure): HQ Manager> Database>

Item Tax>

New>

Assign Tax Name (like xx State) Assign Code(3 digit, I use 001 (do not have to worry about overlap with Sales Tax))>

On Order 1st, drop down and select first tax created above (I start with State Tax)>

Check On receipt, if you want sales tax to list on receipt>

On Order 2n, drop down and select 2nd tax created>

Check on receipt, id you want tax listed on receipt>

Repeat if needed>

OK to save changes

Step 3 - Issue Tax Structure to Stores: Create and issued Worksheet 203: Update Inventory - Sales Tax (This WS will input the tax structure created onto stores)

Step 4 - Issue Sales Tax to Items for Stores: Create and issue Worksheet 320: Adjust Items Sales Tax>

Select Items to be updated>

After creating the WS, Click the Contents tab>

Drop down on first item> Select bundled Sales Tax name as created in step #2>

Right Click on the Sales Tax name after selected>

Select Copy>

Right click again>

Select Paste to all rows>

Issue Worksheet (Store items will be updated with Sales Tax)

The thing I can not remember is if the items are updated only after the store Zs out, which is typically at close.

You will have to do these steps for all new items created, but you are lucky in that you have three stores all at the same tax rate.
