Duration: 1-3 month(s) Position Overview:
The selected candidate will be responsible for the preparation and
completion of state, local property tax returns and ensure that
assessments are reviewed and tax bills paid on time. Also responsible
for handling disputes, filing any appeals and meeting all appeal and
protest deadlines; will support the Tax Manager in property tax audit
litigation and defense. Will keep current on all changes in property
tax laws and regulations and maintaining the property tax calendar.
Reporting to the Property Tax Manager, the candidate will also be
working with various sectors and multi functional groups to ensure
accuracy of filings. Will reconcile assigned tax related G/L accounts;
provide assistance to Information Systems Sector Tax Managers with
property tax planning and forecasting. The candidate should have the
ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented and results-based
environment. Requirements: Advanced understanding and application of
Microsoft Office Excel and Access. Bachelorrsquo;s Degree in
Accounting or related area with 1-3 years experience specific to multi
state property, preferably in a corporate environment. Strong
organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, coupled with
strong leadership and excellent verbal and written communication
skills. Experience with PTMS compliance tool is strongly desired.
Working knowledge of SAP/BW is preferred. US Citizen
