Standards Analyst - Auditor Location: Stamford, CT Salary: $70-75K + 10% bonus
Job Description This person will assist the global business operations in the development and maintenance of a Framework for Internal Controls designed to comply with the quarterly and annual requirements of SOx sections 302 and 404. This person will work with external auditors and will be heavily involved with ongoing testing, monitoring and documenting internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT or Engineering (Information Systems, Computer Science, etc.)
- Knowledge of systems of internal information technology control (e.g., COSO framework)
- Qualified Auditor or Equivalent preferred (CISA, CIA, or equivalent)
- Experience with generally accepted audit practices and IT audit activities
- Experience in working with external auditors
- Proficiency in Windows applications and ability to quickly gain competency in SarbOx documentation, process, and issue management applications
- Ability to analyze risk information using qualitative and quantitative techniques
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work extended hours as necessary
- Excellent verbal and written (technology preferred) communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Two (2) years of related experience in the insurance/reinsurance industry is preferred
- Knowledge and experience in documenting and testing internal controls with respect to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, is preferred
