simply accounting data lost in system restore

Oct 31, 2006 3 Replies

i did a system restore under xp pro of a system of a customer of mine because of a bad video driver and now the simply accounting data that had been entered since the rester point has been lost. presumably simply accounting stores some info in the registry as well as in the data file. is there a way to recover this data? thanks.

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Retore

"Undo a previous Restore Point".

Hi Gary,

As far as I can tell Simply Accounting stores it's data in .sdb file's which are not monitored by System Restore. Have the user do a search on *.sdb to locate the missing files.
