Do you not make backups? Beverly
Zero assumption recovery,
Back ups were made but on the same drive: they are gone too. It may be an accident or sabotage. Either way there is enough blame to go around. It was not password protected, was not stored off site, something I have always insisted on but even that can be problematic. We lost all the information before when a corrupted CD was being used. The information was kept on that CD and on two drives in the office. The CD effectively reasedd the office back ups each time it was used. We got lucky, the guy doing my accounting had it on his hard drive so we just got a new CD and coppied it, problem solved. This is a little more annoying. I have a friend that put far to much time into this and she is LIVID. My friends at Customs can find naughty pictures on hard drives that were erased years before, you would thing there is an ability to recover files.
That link goes to UGL . They sell paint and stuff. Zero Assumption Recovery sounds viable but the link is rerouted. Thank you though. I will try it again . Alex
We solved it. The Sage routed our new inquiries in the wrong direction. ( empty files ) Nothing sinister, thank god. Nothing to do with people picking at it. the data was stored appropriately just not where Simply was going. Thank you though.
sorry da link is
