Growing suburban bookkeeping firm seeks an experienced staff accountant.
We are a rapidly growing company that provides cutting-edge, outsourced, bookkeeping services to small businesses. Duties will include managing daily bookkeeping functions for multiple companies and the supervision of two junior bookkeepers. Specific job functions include: account reconciliations, account receivables, account payables, payroll, general ledger work, preparing financial statements, and other general accounting duties.
Candidate must be proficient in QuickBooks, MSOffice and the Internet. Two years accounting experience preferred. We are seeking a candidate with experience in a CPA firm or other type of professional service that provides accounting services to multiple clients. Tax experience is a plus, but not required. Candidate will have direct client contact so he or she should possess strong communication skills for interaction with both staff members and clients.
