Why didn't Blockbuster's have any interest expense on their balance sheets?

I am looking at the Income Statement of now-bankrupt Blockbusters, and I realize that they didn't pay interest. How can this be?

Do you mean "notes" as in short-term bonds? Do you mean that they don't have any *interest payments* to pay, but they do have *principal payments*?
