Have Nationwide closed their business accounts?

I applied for the "business investor" account about a month ago.

Never got any papers through.

Chased it with their call centre, but they say they have no access to business accounts and I must call 01793 656419 but that number is engaged 24/7 for many days now.

All mention of their business accounts was removed from their website about a week ago.

The branch cannot help and cannot find any trace of the application...

I have had one of these accounts for 'years'. However, just looked on the web site under 'accounts no longer available' and sure enough it is a discontinued account ! Hope I am not told to move my account elsewhere.

Well, looking at the way they have "dealt" with my application, it's unlikely they will even notice they are still running these accounts ;)
