Can anyone recommend a financial institution for its inexpensive fees for being a Co-Trustee?
US Bank has been the corporate trustee for this trust. Their service is poor; a legal notice requiring a legal consent or refusal due at a certain time was sent over two years late; less than prompt call back service; trying to push around the other co-trustees to churn stocks; addressing all by first name, like we are all buddies. We're not.
I noticed their tune changed when I was working with an impoverished relative. Service went from being poor to being abusive.
US Bank's fees amount to about 1.4% of the principal each year. Vanguard seems about 25% cheaper.
