You can setup an account with gotomypc.com or something similar to this to gain remote access to your accounting people for each location. They will have their own username and password to access SO Manager. Please note at the time they are accessing those computers no one else can use those computer since they will have control of the mouse and screen.

Can you clarify by what you mean when you stated Is there a way to simplify the process of manually going into Administrator and change the target SQL server password and database?
