Is it possible to buy RMS 2.0 and use the Dongle or key for version 1.3R?
I have 1.3R with no support plan. I think it will be easier to just buy 2.0 and use the dongle.
I found in the newsgroups that 1.1 to 1.3 did not matter which version dongle you used. They were all the same.
Does anyone have some input for me?

no dongle with 2.0, keys / validation. unless there's a definate reason (namely a feature you need that's in 2.0) I wouldn't bother. Depending on your license level it would be cheaper to pay the penalty and re-new your maint. then you'll get 2.0 for at least 50% less than full price.
If you go buy 2.0 you'll still be stuck with your 1.3 machines as you need keys for each machine.
