Hi, we have more then one cashier running one register. And we are thinking of giving everybody a dif password. but, on our tryout on Sat. it didn't go as good. it was taking them longer to move the customers because every time a cashier finished she close the pos and the next cashier open with her password and she had to wait to load. there is anything that will move these prosses faster? but have a control on who does what? thanks

While Matador's answer will work, if they forget to press F9, it won't ask for the new cashier.
An automatic way is SO Manager | File | Configuration | Options tab | POS Options | check Force Logon each sale

Just for stating this:
We use a different cashier number for each cashier. They all have different passwords and we have it return to the secure screen F9 after every transaction. We have never had a problem with this.
It also helps track what each cashier does time wise in RMS by using a report form Manager. I've actually had to use this report to catch some lies about who rang or didn't ring what.
