Accounts Pending

When i make an account adjustment i see that it is pending... can somebody explain what that means, and when it goes from pending to actaully take effect? I have tried closing the billing cycle etc, but it doesnt seem to make any difference.

Hi Philip -

Not sure what version you are running these days, but, our account payments pend until we hit the OK button to save changes to the customer card. Once the changes are saved, the article is no longer pending if you open the customer card back up. We are using local customers.

I would imagine that if you are using Global Customers you would probably see the pending up until the point that a 401 is processed against the store (thus 'locking' portions of the customer card and acting like the super OK function.

So - how are your customers created, local or Global? Are you clicking the OK button on the customer card after the acct adjustments have been made to save changes?

I use global customers, and yes i hit the ok button after making the adjustment, I have also done a 401 and the download global accounts worksheet, neither of which seem to have shifted the (pending) detail!
