Quicken 2006 Deluxe shuts down when I click one account

I have multiple accounts tracking multiple Mutual fund accounts with Vanguard. Two different 401K, an IRA for my daughter, and my joint retail account. Over the weekend, immediately after completing a one step update I found that attempting to select one of the 401k accounts causes Quicken to close. It appears something happened during the update, and no matter how I select this account it closes Quicken. When I attempt to edit this account from the "Account List" to remove One Step update, the action results in a message window indicating to cancel online service for this account I must contact the FI. I'm at a lose to figure out what has happened, or what to do next. There will be no additional action in this account for two more weeks. Any ideas?

Thanks

Good and bad news to report - The problem no longer happens is the good, I have no idea what if anything I did that cleared the problem. My best guess is that the account finally got another transaction, resulting in something to download in the One-Step update and that cleared/reset/whatever so that it works again now. I notice a new posting on this news group of another person reporting Q2008 just shutting down. That may or may not be related, but unfortunately, I have no particular guidance.

In this case, I guess patience has proven to be a virtue after all.

I should have reported back sooner. I ran file verify and found the log indicated there were 65k pending transactions to be posted to the subject account. The verify process resolved the number to 11, and my problem is now corrected.

Not sure how the problem originated, but as is often the case, I no longer care.
