I created a new department, and now I can't create ANY new categories. I get a message "Run-time error '94': Invalid use of Null" with the only choice being OK. Then, RMS shuts down. Any suggestions?

Are you running on SQL Server 2000? or MSDE? If SQL 2000, check collation of server in store administrator. must be the same as database.

Try this, SO Admin | File | Connect | put in your password | Database | Backup | Database | Check | Database | Re-index | File | Exit
