Hi, Is there any documentation anywhere showing what properties belong to qsRules? So that when I get an instance via (javascript): var qsRules qsBridge.RequestQSRules(); (per article 869720), I will know how to get at various pieces of data? What I need is the current work order number. I have been able to get it via qsBridge.FireEvent("SelectWorkorder"), but can I get it without having the work order look-up dialog come up first? I figure if so, it will be via a qsRule. Li'l help needed. TIA, -Nick
any qsRules reference doc?

You need of customization guide...

go to
formatting link
(as antonio pointed out...these are for partners) then enter your info for step 1, next then choose RMS Customization guide for step two, next blah blah blah...have fun!
the customization guide is available on MBS support site for partner..
do you are a partner or have a partner-friend that provide you customization guide?
antonio
I have a copy of the QSRules customization guide, and to tell you the truth it's useless. I'm writing a completely new frontend for RMS and I hardly ever use it. Many of the functions do not line up with the QSRules.dll I've imported into Visual Studio .NET (C#).
I've basically thrown it away and use the DLL itself for reference with trial and error. Most of it I've worked out over a coupleof days (some code Antonio gave me was a GREAT help - do a search).
This is unless I'm miss> Hi,
Hi Keefah,
I am trying to find my way aroung these objects as well. I was wondering where can I get article 869720? my email is snipped-for-privacy@ee.newcastle.edu.au if you have a copy you can send me.
Also does anyone know how to get an instance of QSBridge and an instance of QSRules that refer to the same session object? I would like to take advantage of both of these APIs at the same time.
