i did the cost on 11.1.2007 was 42.00 inv 20.00 on 3.1.2008 po for 1 items at 28.00 cost the new system cost was set to 28.00 it seems to be working now but how can i tell if this was a one shot mistake and not an intermittent problem

Also there will be a mess when you allow negative quantities (Manager Configuration - Options - Item Options - Do not allow sale of items when out of stock), e.g. you sell before a PO receive. For instance your quantity is 0 with the last cost 5.00 and you sell 2 with total 10.00, then quantity is -2 and total -10.00. Now you receive PO 5 items with cost 6.00, total 5*60.00 - item quantity will be 3 with cost 6.00 and total 3*6.00. Here is discrepancy: 0-10+30 .00 18.00!
