What does the bar code on the receipt mean? Can you scan that barcode at the POS and have the transactions from that receipt populate the POS screen?

Yes, the barcode represents the transaction number, so you can scan the barcode in to any field where you are searching for a transaction number (such as in the Journal list or the Recall lists)
FYI, the barcodes will only work once you reach transaction #100 (this is because barcodes have to be at least 3 digits)
