In Buy X and Get Y for Z Scheme
------------------------------------- Quantity to Buy at full price = 2 Quantity to Get at discount = 1 Discount price = 0
I have assigned this scheme to one of my item.when i sell this item at POS & put 2 in Quantity cell it does not bring discount item on the window.I have to put 3 in the Quantity cell then it brings.wat is the logic how RMS is handling that?
Any thoughts?
What you have set up is buy 2 and get a 3rd one free. You still need to scan the third item so that it can adjust the inventory. As you saw, it will not automatically add the third item. It will simply make the price of the third item zero.
If you scan the items one at a time, or better yet, scan them with additional items not part of this discount scheme in between, you will see that it will make the third one free automatically.
