Helppp :) We are experiencing an issue with customer names being duplicated in our database. It is not us erroneously re-entering the customer by mistake, it is the system automatically duplicating the information and applying a new customer number. We have noticed some customer information as it appears alphabetically has customer numbers that are sequential, so some type of automatic function is at work. Any ideas or suggestions. Obviously, we would like to prevent this from occuring at all, as we are continually having to erase the extra customer data. Of note is that the newly created cutomers (duplicates) have no purchase history, so we are able to delete them without losing any original data.
