I am trying to make a detailed year to date sales report by customer, but RMS does not give any results, when I use customer name or number, though customer has come many times. Any suggestions..

What filters are you using?

I am using detalied sales report, with filters using customer and period year to date.

If you try running a Detailed Sales Report for This year to date. Then add the Customer Name column and drag that column all the way over to the left, press Ctrl + Z to collapse all grouped rows. Look through the list, do you the customer you are looking for? If so you may not have your filters set correctly, try using Contains rather than Equals as an operator for the Customer Name.
