database version

I recently had to do a clean install on a workstation and I can't get the system working. Starting the Store POS or Store Operations Manager gives me an error "the current database is version 2.01 while this application requires 2.00, please run store operations admin to correct this problem". I've uninstalled sql 2005 and reinstalled it using the original RMS disc but to no avail - I've also run the admin but can't see what needs to be done. We have sql 2008 on the server and seven other workstations are operating correctly. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
