Domain Integration - RMS 2.0

Hi, I am going to be moving all of my POS terminals into our 2003 domain. I didn't see a whitepaper on domain integration and RMS and I haven't seen a lot of conversation on the subject so I thought I'd pose the question:

What are the keys to domain integration with RMS?

My goals: RMS-specific goals: Automatic logon of a locked-down kiosk-style user account. A way to run RMS as Administrator since the user will not be one. AD General goals: Lock down the desktops Prevent software installation Enable logon scripts Patch Management

Obviously I'm asking the newsgroup for RMS-specific help, I can rely on general AD implementation guides for the rest.

Thanks all,

BK

Hi Brandon

We use RR HQ Utilities and Store Utilities to tie down users across RMS stores. I can control my users form a central point in HQ Utilities which is integrated with HQ Manager and any changes done are pushed down via Worksheet style 51 to stores via Store Utilities. Contact Retail Realm on that. As for Windows related issues, those will be handled by AD.
