Is there an upgrade path from RMS 2.0 to POS 2009? I've tried to restore an RMS db to POS 2009 but the import wizard is bombing out.

Doug, There is an upgrade path, but it is only one way. You will need to consult the RMS to POS 2009 migration documentation. Basically you have to run a series of scripts before you try to run the wizard.
