I have a client who is wanting to upgrade from RMS 1.3 to POS2009. I was told that the path would be to upgrade from 1.3 to 2.0 to 2009. Would I be able to use a 30-day demo of 2.0 to get them from 1.3 to 2.0, then upgrade to a full license of 2009?

Yes, that will work, although you really don?t need a full blown demo, just install the 2.0 program without the keys and then do your update.
