I am trying to create a database in POS2009 from a .bck from RMS 2.0. It keeps bailing out during the create process. What am I missing? I have installed the Serv pck for POS2009.

That can't be done directly. You need to follow the upgrade/migration process outlined in the Rapid Implementation Tools found on Partner Source.
