RMS can handle windows printers. And template allow you to specify page sizes etc, so yes.

Hi Jay, The Dymo label printer works, but I would have to qualify that answer. The cool thing about the Dymo is that it is inexpensive and has a large variety of label sizes. I am currently doing some tests with the butterfly label, but trying to scan anything that has more than 6 digits/characters and printed on such a tiny label will render it useless. The resolution on the Labelwriter 300 and 400 is 300dpi. When looking at the actual printed label, the bars start getting waaay too squished after 6-digits and the scanner cannot read it.

Does anyone have suggestions/recommendations for the butterfly labels and also experience of the character limit our ItemLookupCode should be? We are mainly using the butterfly, .5"x1", 1"x1", 1"x2" labels.

Then make your barcode field as big as you can on the label.

Could be lots of trial and error.

Thanks Jeff, I'm leaning toward using 128b or Code 39 - mainly because I need letters and numbers. 128C has a limit of 11 characters, I believe. But what I can do is make sure that I limit the length of the ILC when printing on the tiny labels. This is likely the easiest solution.

When you said "3rd None down", did you mean "3rd ONE down" = 3 of 9?

If you go to the bottom of the list, you will have a bunch of NONE entries. The 3rd one down is pretty small too.
