Global Customers payments not appearing in RMS HQ

Hello All....

We are having problems with payments of the Global Customers that are booked correcty in RMS Store Ops and never are taken out of the balance at RMS HQ, the payments receipts appear in the journals in the HQ, but the transactions are not booked on the customers accounts. We used already our incidents with Microsoft and they sent several scripts and pathes in the past that were supposed to solve this problem, and now I'm already having my doubts regarding this software, since this is going on since last year that we bought the software. Anyone familiar with this problem, or maybe anyone that can help us ???

Thanks in advance.

Without database (rms so and rms hq) it's impossibile to reply to your question. When you recall transactions through report, do you have the customer account into report?

Jose,

Under File->Configuration, head to the Options tab the the Customer Options folder. There are some checks that involve HQ, that likely aren't checked.

Good luck, Matt

We had a similar problem and it was due to not being connected to HQ when recording the payment (we are using a dial-up connection from the store). We solved this as follows: At the POS terminal, select one of the customers that has paid and then use Shift-F4 to connect to HQ and download accounts receivable information (you must have the option to connect to HQ for open A/R switched on in the POS Manager Setup menu). The amount paid at the store will show up as a local credit. Apply it to the relevant Invoice and then run a 401 Worksheet from HQ (or just wait for the next 401 to run). Sometimes the payment takes a while to actually show up at HQ, I am not sure why.
