Has anyone implemented MS POS or RMS SO in a grocery store? Are there any "gotchas" that I need to be aware of? Any problems integrating with Magellan XL scale/scanners?

This system is NOT for a supermarket!!!!!
- When a cashier signs off, it takes minutes before the next cashier can sign on. (sync of tables)
- Credit card processing "sucks" at best. There is no provider that will processing using sig capture that is reliable
- lot matrix items are not scanner friendly
- scan a lot matrix item and then scan another item and the 2nd item is free (thanks microsoft)
- no hand held units ( data collectors) support lot matrix items ( i.e. coke & pepsi items)
- net display will not support all media types
- inventory can be tricked when creating new items using the copy feature
- I can go on
