Has anyone had experience integrating Heartland Payment Systems with RMS?

I am doing my first Heartland integration this weekend using Vital. Using RMS EDC, does the processor (Heartland) have the ability to automatically close and post a batch i.e. 2:00 a.m. and the the customer only has to run his batch report the next morning? I can do this with other POS programs using either PC_Charge or processing with Mercury.

Thanks,

Kinnard

Hi Patrick,

You're probably talking about "Heartland Exchange" - supposedly it works, we'll be deploying it for a client in the next two weeks - I'll post back the results!

Patrick,

We use Vital on all v1.3 installs. Hopefully RMS will use our gateway for Exchange platform. I have several customers on Vital IP processing. Merchant just has to check end of day report for missing authorization codes and verify in deposit next day. We occasionally see missing auths but almost always in deposit. Don't know why? Most my customer do it high percentage PIN debit transactions. Need Vital encypted PIN pad with pigtail cables from CDW.com part #380443

Email me if you need info. Easy w/v1.3.
