how not to print reason code on receipt

All reason codes like discount, return and etc will be printed automatically below each transaction line on the report. But we don't want that. Can some guru help me to get rid of that?

You must to change your receipt xml schema and use

Entry.ReasonTaxChange.Description Entry.ReasonDiscount.Description Entry.ReasonReturn.Description

See documentation for more details

Antonio, thanks for your help.

Checking the standard "receipt.xml", I cannot find the 3 fields about reason code. I believe the xml code should be in "PrintTransactionDetails", but cannot see any codes of printing the discount code. I did read customization guide, but no luck. Do I miss something?

I may be wrong but from my understanding the Reason codes are printed as a Comment. If you disable printing the comments, that should also disable printing the Reason Codes.

Hi, I got it.

Variable "Entry.Item.Description" should be used rather than "Entry.Description".

Thanks you both for your help. Jas> Jas> > Antonio, thanks for your help.
