HQ Item Cost

We are using RMS HQ Version 2.0 with 9 stores. We have selected the weighted average cost calculation in the RMS HQ Configuration options. The problem in HQ is : the Cost field in item`s General tab does not get updated to reflect the average cost, however the costs in the "Store Cost" tab are updated correctly with the average cost for each individual store. Also in the "Inventory" tab the fields "Last Received", "Last Sold", "Last Cost" and "Replacement Cost" are not updated. Any explanation as to why this is happening.

It's broken.

Have you applied the latest Hot Fix (2.0.0115 or higher)? If so, the cost averaging is *supposed* to work. I haven't tested it, but my WS401s that used to complete in 2 minutes now take 15 or 20 minutes to process, my HQ Server machine is running at 80% CPU utilization at all times and my stores have gone from connecting every 6-15 minutes to connecting once/hour and it's still too often. Apply HotFix 2.0.0115 at your own risk. IMO, you're better off simply running reports at the store for inventory values.

Design Intent. RMS HQ does not deliver it.
