HQ Pricing update

I maybe missing an easier way of doing things please help if you can. We receive an order on the the purchase order and have to update our retail prices because our costs went up. Ok so we can change the retail on the purchase order or double click on the item lookup code (we do the later in order to print out labels for items already in stock), so then we have to change the retail prices in the server also? Is there a better way to automate this process?

I understand that this allows for control of the prices at the store level, but if we want to have a sale, we generate the sale prices at HQ level may not be correct at store level or have to repeat it at each store level.

Do the reports of the value of inventory at HQ level really represent the same values at store level?

Thank-you for your help in advance

The PO should not affect the retail price in HQ or the stores. To do this, set your HQ Manager to Maintenance Mode, then update the prices in the Items table, then use the worksheet 304 to send the new prices to the stores.
