For some reason the "settle EDC batch" command is greyed out on a new backoffice laptop... can anyone help me get that working? Thanks, Jay

Go into Store Operations Administrator and connect to your database. Then choose File|Configuration|EDC tab. Setup EDC info as per your other terminals that work. This has to be done for each terminal that needs access to EDC, otherwise it is set to no EDC by default on installation.
