Import Utility

We have written a data management utility that enables you to import data from a CSV specifying the exact RMS fields you wish it to populate. This utility also enables you to export data tidy/manipulate and re-import. This utility also comes complete with an attributes module enabling you to record unlimited number of attributes against an Item, Customer and Supplier record.

What do you want to import?

I've been using EMS' Data Import/Export Bundle and it seems to work great. The only problem I've encountered was wiithimporting customers with existing balances. Statements weren't generated! I tried again using QSCimport and apparently it makes the necessary entries on the AR table(s). I'm sure that if I knew what data to put into which AR tables, that the EMS product would work.

I've also learned (on this group) to use Excel to create a batch of SQL queries.
