Items on Sale

I don't think so. RMS has no provision for multiple simultaneous sales.

It might be easiest to have the cashier simply discount the transaction by

10% using the Shift-F3:Discount feature.

Good luck, Tom

Is it possible to put all items in the store on sale without losing the sales that were already going on?

ie: we have some items that are already on sale but want to have a sale where everything in the store is on sale for 10% off for 2 days. Then after that we go back to having only select items on sale.

Is this even possible without having to go back and manually put items on sale again once the blanket sale ends?

We are using RMS and HQ 1.3

Thanks, Matt

I think it would be awesome if you marked your sale items bin location (if bin is not in use) with something like S (representing Sale). You can run a query to do this.

Then, run a set items sale price, set the filter to BIN Location S (picking up all items that were currently not on sale) for the set sale prices worksheet. You can then add your two day period to start/stop the sale.

So, your current on sale items would not be affected, but all items not on sale can be placed on sale for your %age off.
