Please advise if any of you have heard of The Edge by Abbott Jewelry Systems, LLC and what some of the key differences are between that and the Microsoft RMS solution other than the feature sets built in specifically for jewelry stores.

Tim, I have not tried edge, but RMS and a add-in from MPI systems seem to be a great combination for jewellery stores. Technically their add in doesn't seem sound being a mde, however it seems to be pretty hardened and highly functional.
