Large RMS installs of 100+

Does anyone know of any large RMS installs of 100+ stores using Headquarters??

I have heard they are out there but Nobody has given me specifics.

I have heard that POSitive Technology has some and I have also heard there is currently one being done by GIS (Global Implementation Systems) I understand that they are doing a VERY LARGE implementation of a RMS + Fuel Pump Integration + Great Plains in Malaysia somewhere.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated

Hey Guys,

You might be interested to know that we, Global Implementation Services, Inc., (GIS) have successfully integrated Microsoft Business Solutions Retail Management System to the gas pumps of a major petrol retailer in the Philippines - Petron Corporation, a part of the global conglomerate Aramco. We are contracted to initialy implement 52 gas station within this year and shows a commitment for additional 80 more stations for next year. Petroleum company TOTAL also signed up with us for pilot implemtation of such integration.

This is a multi-tier integration from RMS to POSTEC Communication Controler (pump controller), to credit card reader, and finally to SAP(not RMS-HQ).

We may not help you in your search for information on SOP-HQ issues because these companies are using other ERPs.

For other info, please fell free to contact me.

Cheers,

Darren Martin E. Dimaguila Microsoft RMS Program Manager Global Implementation Services, Inc.

Tony,

well over here in Europe we also have larger installations at least above

30-50 stores and we have done 125 store with Qs2000 back in the old days :-). Also in Europe 90% of all sales go with HQ and ERP integration. So my point I would say 100 stores is no problem IF you know amount of transactions, number of items and you have some ERP maybe to handle orders and item creation. What type of retail business is your customer in?

Tony,

Brett Woods with Positive Technology here. We have installed 250 locations to HQ. I don't know the deal intimately, so I don't know about the issues involved. This much I do know, we partner with other RMS partners often, on these larger deals. If you're interested please give me a call.

Hello,

My name is Jeff Beedham. I have experience installing RMS to 250 locations at my last job. That is right, we had close to 250 stores running at the same time, so I have lots of experience with that. This may be the one that Brett is referring to below. My current job uses RMS to run about 30 stores or so. If you have any questions email me at snipped-for-privacy@elitemail.org.
