Is there a way to limit the quantity of a specific item being sold. With all the regulations of Methamphetamine and other over the counter drugs, my customer needs to comply with, they can only sell two packages to each customer.

Tim, The only option I can seem to find is checking the box under options for "quantity entry at POS not allowed" but that doesn't prohibit your cashier of placing it several times on the screen.
Yup... the quantity and amount limit is for all items. The Add button is for point system only... now this is a good thing to suggest...
The only real way to enforce this is with a customization. Talk to your RMS reseller.
This is interesting (I never noticed Limit Purchases before). However for some reason the Add button is grayed out. I can only set the Limit Conditions. Has anyone had this problem before?
How does it work then? How do you specify "limit 2 purchases per month on this specific item"? I don't see a way of doing that .. it almost looks like there must be an option somewhere to enable purchase limits (but I can't find one)
unfortunately, this is only for customers properties so it will be applied to all items, unless this you add something like a point system for it which might be a good idea.(congratulations! you have reached 1000 points, free stay at a local rehab... please dont kill me for lightening up the mood)
