Microsoft - Please fix 2

Dec 01, 2007 2 Replies

I know this has been talked about too at great length but I just can't help it having just read Jennifer's recent post.

The most significant issue that I have with RMS2 is how stock is entered into the system.

I have, for the moment, three crucial requests:

1) A one page form for editing / creation of an item. Other systems do it and I would lovvvvve to see it in RMS2.

2) Import feature, via spreadsheet, of new items. I 'know' there are add-ons available but the bottom line is I feel that this is a fundamental feature missing from the product offering. For those that are reading this, if you have any suggestions I'm all ears, I know this is a topic that has been discussed but things do change in the IT industry at a fairly rapid rate so this is a call for an update.

3) As above, the ability to import Purchase Orders.

If I had the above mentioned functionality my life would be a whole lot easier. It would certainly get my business partner off my back about how crap entering new stock is and how we should go back to our old Pos system.

For the record, my experience has been a positive one though, RMS2 has been solid as a rock. I'll also use this forum to give a big thanks to Professional Advantage in Sydney, Australia for doing a great job on the implementation. They were fantastic.

Cheers, everyone on this forum has been great.

Sincerely,

Ryan
