I have developed a web based system that allows the users of SBF and RMS to
- Import Payroll hours from Microsoft RMS to SBF with 2 mouse clicks.
- Import Sales batches from RMS to SBF's GL and checking accounts. You are allowed to first edit the amounts before completing the import.
- Keeping in mind that this system is web based - you can view Invoices, payments etc... by Vendor as well as attach and then view a scanned invoice, check etc... over the web.
- View reports such as a web based Profit and Loss that is date/company driven.
- The systems home page is a web based digital dashboard that shows outstanding invoices to be paid, Outstanding Sales Batchs to be Processed. Current Sales for the day, Month and Year pulled from the Microsoft RMS system.
I developed this system based on my companys needs as well as what I felt Microsoft RMS and SBF should already be doing. The reason I made it web based instead of integrating into RMS and SBF was I am constantly on the go at one of the stores and traveling and needed the ability to perform these functions from any web connection.
