Quickbooks and RMS Integration

I have 2 stores and want to import both stores into Quickbooks, but as far as I can tell you can't do that through Store Operations Headquarters. So how do you do it for multiple stores?

At HQ you can use Microsoft Small Business Financials or Great Plains for multiple stores.

Mihir I have searched this board extensively over the last day or two, and I am still a bit confused. Most posts state that the SB Financials did not roll out its RMS connector. But then I found one post that links the connector, but that page states that it integrates with RMS and does not specifically mention HQ.

You seem to be in the "know," are you certain that SBF will work? If so, great, because Great Plains is too pricey at this stage of my business. I hope to see your reply...thanks.

The rms connector for SBF was never released. The only integration microsoft has is for the GL. I expect complete integration that was the point in buying Microsoft products.

Microsoft seemed to have decided they don't care about the SBF people and seem to be giving all attention to GP. Every new announcement about great new innovations are for GP and next to nothing is being released by Microsoft. I'm not sure what direction they are planning and by the looks of this board no one else does either.

Thank you for the l> At HQ you can use Microsoft Small Business Financials or Great Plains for

Hi Steve,

There is a built-in integration between RMS- HQ and SBF. And yes, the integration is at the GL level only. The integration with Great Plains is definitely better than SBF.

I would test the integration and be ok with it before buying the SBF software. More importantly you need to be comfortable with SBF as an accounting system. Because it is not as simple as Quickbooks.
