Quickbooks 2007 and RMS HQ

I have 2 stores running RMS 2.0 and HQ and use Quickbooks 2007. There has to be an easier way to post the batches from the stores than what I'm doing: posting the closed batches to .iif files (I have to email the remote store's batch to myself, open the email, save it to my computer running QB, open with notepad to make a change- why is RMS sending a 0.0 to Retained Earnings?????); open QB and import both files from both my stores. By the time I'm finished I'm exhausted! I'm pining for the olden days where I could just say "post batch" and it automatically goes into QB. Please tell me there's another way other than purchasing a very expensive 3rd party module. Jennifer

I have not found a better way... Worse yet - I decided with my accountant to migrate to QuickBooks online edition only to find out that .iif file importing is not supported. Ouch.
