Is it possible post vendors/items/etc FROM rms TO qb? I know you can do it the other way around, but since we started with RMS, that doesn't help me! Also, is there any way to post closed POs without the corresponding closed batches? ANd when POs are imported, do they just import as a total bill due? or do the items and everything import as well? Help!

Franni,
You should not have to import all your items into QB, let RMS handle the actual inventory otherwise you will be creating more work for yourself. Your other questions I have to say I am not clear as to what exactly gets posted over.

As far as I know, there isn't a way to post closed POs without posting the closed batches.
We just work in Quickbooks at the summary level...department level information sales and cogs only. I don't know why you'd want the item information in QB other than to run reports. We manage all of our products in RMS and export data to Access or Excel for more complex analysis than either RMS or Quickbooks can offer. For us, QB works best as simply our accounting software.

You should do this anyways, over-valuing your inventory is not a GAAP :)
Are you saying that when you create a PO in RMS and use the Shipping Charge field, it's included in the COGS Total account? I always thought there was a separate Shipping Charge account that got exported.
